Notice for Online Chinese Visa applications with E-application Forms and Pre-booked appointments

In order to improve the Chinese visa application services, the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Brisbane will start to host online application form and appointment booking system from 1st August 2020 for Chinese visa applications (excluding the Visa for Hong Kong/Macau Special Administrative Regions of China). Applicants will be required to fill their online electronic application forms at www.visaforchina.org. After filling in this new version of online electronic application form, please print out the completed form, sign on the confirmation page and also on the 8th page of the application form and submit to our center together with original passport and other visa application documents.

From 1st August 2020 to 31st August 2020, applicants can still use the existing physical paper application forms of version 2013. Starting from 1st September 2020, all applications have to fill in this new version of online electronic application form. The Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Brisbane will cease to accept applications forms of version 2013.

Applicants who hold diplomatic, service passports, are not required to pre-book online, and they only need to complete the online application forms at www.visaforchina.org, then proceed to submit all relevant and necessary documents at Chinese Consulate General in Brisbane.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our office has been temporarily closed from April 6th, 2020 until further notice. Please visit our website www.visaforchina.org for more updated information. According to “Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China National Immigration Administration Announcement on the Temporary Suspension of Entry by Foreign Nationals Holding Valid Chinese Visas or Residence Permits”, if you are coming to China for necessary economic, trade, scientific or technological activities or out of emergency humanitarian needs, please make the appointment through bnecenter@visaforchina.org with the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Brisbane.
