Effective 26 October 2026, the Mumbai Visa Application Center will no longer accept applications for Chinese visas and consular legalization services. Collection of processed documents will remain available until 12:00 noon on 30 October 2026.

From 26 October 2026, applications for Chinese visas and consular legalization services will be accepted directly by the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Mumbai. For further details, please refer to the Consulate General's official website.

For online applications submitted after 17:00 on 23 October 2026, no service fee will be charged. Service fees collected for online applications submitted before this time are non-refundable
