Notice on Fingerprints Collection of Chinese Visa Application


From 17th Dec. 2019, the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in The Hague (hereinafter referred to as “The Visa Center”) will capture applicants’ 10 fingerprints on behalf of Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Netherlands in accordance with Chinese laws and regulations.


Please be noted that fingerprints are not required for:


1. Applicants under the age of 14 or over the age of 70.

2. Applicants who have been fingerprinted and applied in Chinese Visa Application Service Center in the Hague with the same passport within five years.

3. Applicants who suffer from ten finger mutilation or whose fingerprints cannot be collected or retained.


Please note that all visa applicants should have their fingerprints collected in person at the Visa Center. Applicants who forge fingerprints or use other people’s fingerprints may be denied entry to China and should bear all the consequences by themselves. Meanwhile, applicants are required to make an appointment and fill in the application forms online at the official website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Centers (https://www.visaforchina.org) in advance. To save your time, please also check the requirement for supporting documents from our website to make sure you bring complete documents.

*As the fingerprint collection process is complicated, the Visa Center will reduce the number of appointments daily. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
