Notice for Legalization Application at the Visa Center from May 24th, 2021


As of May 24th, 2021, the consular legalization applications should be submitted to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in the hague (hereinafter referred to as 'Visa Center'). The followings are the basic information you need to read before you come to apply:

A) Office Hours: Please make an appointment through the website (www.visaforchina.org) before coming to the visa center. Receiving our confirmation, please submit the application materials to the visa center according to the appointment time. 

B) Processing time (After you have completed the submission of your application at the Visa Center)

Regular service: The processing time is usually 4 working days.  

Express service: The processing time is usually 3 working days.

Urgent service: The processing time is usually 2 working days.  

 *The consular officer has the right to require the applicant to provide other supporting documents, or to have an interview at the Embassy. Therefore, the processing time may be longer than service time listed above. 

C) Fees

The visa center will charge legalization fees on behalf of the Embassy and the service fees. Applicants requesting express or urgent service will be charged an extra fees Please click here for details.
**All fees must be paid immediately after submitting the application. Service fees will not be refunded if the application were rejected or refused. 

D) Additional notes

1. Handwritten and printout application forms are both acceptable.

2. The Visa Center will not accept applications without prior appointment.

3. The visa center is only responsible for the handling of the application submissions. The Chinese Embassy in Netherlands is in charge of the process of decision-making.
