1. Common Documents

(1). Passport valid for more than 6 months with at least one blank visa page.

(2). Copy of the passport personal information page.

(3). Copy of the front and back of  Pakistan National ID card for Pakistani citizens.

(4). Copy of evidence of legal stay or residence in Pakistan for a third-country nationals, such as visa, Pakistan Origin Card, etc.

(5). Original Chinese passport and a copy of the passport personal information page for the person who was previously a Chinese national and applies Chinese visa for the first time after  naturalization of another country.

(6). If the applicant’s name is changed and differs from that in a new passport, please provide an official certificate of the name change, which must be apostilled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.

(7). Valid police character/clearance certificate (updated). Applicants aged 10 and above must submit a police character/clearance certificate covering the period "since birth..., till now"; applicants under the age of 10 are not required to submit. If the document doesn't contain a verifiable QR code, it must be accompanied by an apostille issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.

 

2. Characterized Documents

(1) Invitation Letter for Tourist Group issued by the duly authorized tourism office in China, usually the local relevant Culture and Tourism Bureau upon the request by the local travel agency in China.

 

3. Special Reminder

(1). If necessary, the consular officer may require the applicant to provide other supporting documents or supplementary materials, or ask for an interview with the applicant, or require signing off after the applicant finish visiting China.

(2). The applicant for certain types of Visa (D, Q1, Q2, S1, S2, X1, X2 & Z) should come in person for an interview. (every time for this visa type).

(3). The consular officer has the final decision on the visa issuance, validity, duration of stay and number of entries according to specific condition of the applicant.
