1. Notice on Exempting fingerprint collection for certain types of visa Application:
From 11 August 2023 to 31 December 2023, the Chinese embassy in Nepal will exempt eligible applicants applying for single or double- entry business(M), tourist(L), family visit(Q2), transit(G), Crew(C), foreigner of high talent or specialist(R) visas from fingerprint collection.

3.From 30th aug 2023, China-bound travelers are no longer required to undergo COVID-19 test or Antigen Rapid Test (ART) before entering China. It is no longer required to declare the test result in the Health Declaration Form.

6.From 15 June 2022, Nepalese and third-country citizens with valid Chinese residence permits for work, reunion, personal affairs and journalist can enter China from Nepal without applying for a visa.
From 24 August 2022, foreigners holding valid APEC business travel cards to engage in business actitivites in China and foreign students holding valid study residence permits do not need to apply for visa and could enter China with the above documents,
