7. Can I entrust others to apply for the visa on my behalf?

Usually the applicant should apply for the visa in person ,pay the fee and collect the visa. If it is really impossible to apply in person, after preparing all the application materials including the application form signed by the applicant, you can entrust others (without issuing a power of attorney) to submit the application materials and pay the fees and collect the visa at the Visa Application Center.

Precautions:

1. The applicant shall choose whether to entrust others to apply for the visa on their behalf after fully considering the security of personal information, important information and documents.

2. The applicant must enter Macao and ensure to stay in Macao during the visa submission and approval period, and provide valid proof of legal stay in Macao;

3. The applicant must meet the conditions for exemption from fingerprint collection;

4. The applicant must sign and confirm in Section 9.1 on page 7 of the application form and the confirmation page (consistent with the signature of the passport);

5. If the application form is filled out by the agent, the agent must fill in Section 9.2 on page 7 of the application form and sign for confirmation;

6. If the printed application form needs to be modified, the applicant must sign and confirm the modification. (The application form number and the surname, given name, gender, date of birth, nationality, passport number and place of birth cannot be modified and must be consistent with the information submitted to the system).

7. The agent must fill in the ”Declaration of Visa Agent and submit the proof of legal stay in Macao (such as Macao identity card/or passport + stay permit/or Travel Perimit + stay permit);


8. The Visa Application Center does not participate in the visa approval process. The consular officer of the Commissioner's Office will decide on whether to issue a visa and on its validity, duration of stay and number of entries based on the applicant's specific circumstances. The consular officer may request the applicant to provide other supporting documents or supplementary materials or an interview with the applicant.
