Notice of Compensatory Visa Policy
Foreign nationals holding ordinary multiple-entry Chinese visa issued before 28 March 2020 can apply for compensatory visa with normal procedure and requested documents. No compensatory policy for visa issued after 28 March 2020.
Policy:
1. Full recompense for suspended visa validity. The validity of the compensatory visa will be decided by the visa validity suspended between 28 March 2020 and 14 March 2023.

2. Regular visa fee free. Regular visa fee will not be charged for the compensatory visa. Full service charge and express visa fee should be paid.

Voluntary principle. Applicants should decide whether to apply for a compensatory visa
after the visa with suspended validity is expired. Applicants may renounce this
policy and choose a new ordinary visa with full payment of both visa fee and
service fee.

The term of this policy:1 May 2023 to 30 June 2030.
