In accordance with the relevant arrangement, starting from 6thDecember, 2022, the Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC) in Melbourne will only accept applications with an online appointment. Applications without a proper appointment will not be accepted.

The updated application procedures are as follows:

     1. Prepare documents based on the type of visa you are applying for. Please follow the "Step by Step Guidance" for the documents checklist.

     2. Fill out the application form online, print it out and sign on the confirmation page as well as on the 8th page. And then make an appointment online to lodge your application. (Please click Quick Access---VISA on our website:https://bio.visaforchina.org/MEL2_EN/)

     3. On the date of your appointment, please come to Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Melbourne in person to submit your application and retain ten fingerprints (please click here for more information).

To enter the visa center, please wear a face mask properly. 

    4. Collect your passport according to the time you are informed and pay by card only.   
  

Please note:
    1. Please note that the online application form will no longer be valid or retrievable after 30 days from the date when you fill in the form. Please ensure that you book an appointment within 30 days of filling in your online application form.

  2. The visa application form cannot be changed manually. Please make sure all the information on the form is correct. Any mistakes or incomplete application materials will make your submission unsuccessfully on the day, a new appointment to submit again is needed.  

  3.  Postal Service is not available at the moment.
