1. Basic Requirements
(1)Passport
a). Original passport with at least six months of remaining validity and with at least 2 pieces of blank visa page.
b). A photocopy of the passport (the data page that includes the photo, personal information and signature page)
(2)Visa Application Form and Photo
One completed Visa Application Form and the confirmation page of the form (sign on item 9 and confirmation page of the form).; A recently-taken color passport photos (bare-head, full face, wear deep color clothes,48mm x 33mm) against a white background, one attached on the application form, the other applied directly with the passport. Please note that if the photo is not qualified, the application may not be accepted and the applicants should bear the consequences.
(3)Proof of legal stay or residence status Proof of legal stay or residence status (applicable to applicants other than Uzbekistan), which is valid for more than 6 months.
(4)Photocopy of previous Chinese visas (applicable for those who have obtained Chinese visas before)
If you have obtained Chinese visas before, you should provide the photocopy of the latest identical Chinese visa. It might facilitate the Embassy to issue the most appropriate visa to you .
(5) Photocopy of previous Chinese passports or previous Chinese visas(applicable for those who were Chinese citizens and have obtained foreign citizenship).
If you are applying for a Chinese visa for the first time, you should provide the last Chinese passport held and a photocopy of its data page.
If you have obtained Chinese visas before and apply for a Chinese visa with a renewed foreign passport that does not contain any Chinese visa, you should provide original previous passport(s)and present the photocopy of the previous passport's data page and the photo page if it is separate, as well as the previous Chinese visa page (If your name on the current passport differs from that on the previous one, you must provide an official document of name change).
(6) Applicants under 18 years old:
a). Application form for those who are under 18 years old should be signed by parent(s) or their guardian(s) on the form Section 5. The passports of parent(s) and/or relevant legal documents for the guardians plus passport of the guardians will be needed. Both original and copy of passport information page and signature page.
b). Applicants under 18 should also provide the Birth Certificate with parents' names (original and copy). The Birth Certificate should be in Vietnamese,English or Chinese. If any personal information does not match with the documents provided (such as a name change), an official changing proof documents will be needed.
c). If parent(s) is holding non Vietnamese passport, please also provide the original and photocopy of your Vietnam legal status (work visa, study visa or residence permit).
d). Overseas Chinese origin who are under 18 applying Chinese visa for the first time also need to provide both the original and copy of the Birth Certificate with parents information, previous Chinese passport or travel documents (if having), visa, Naturalization paper, plus the parents’ passport, visa, or naturalization paper when the applicant was born. All documents need both original and copy. If any personal information does not match with the documents provided(such as a name change), an official changing proof documents will be needed for the first time applying Chinese visa.
e)If both parents will not accompany the applicant to the CVASC to apply for the visa, letter of authorization is required.
“Tourist Invitation Letter”for group visa issued by the authorized Travel Agency in China(with a barcode on the top right corner).
(For group visa only(more than 5 applicants)The application should be submitted through an embassy-registered Uzbekistan travel agency.)
Starting from November 5th, 2018, the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan has issued individual travel visas to Uzbekistan citizens. Please bring the following materials to apply for a visa:
1.Uzbekistan's central government departments and prefecture level government departments, central state companies, authoritative financial institutions, highly reputable civil society organizations, universities, research institutions, and their close relatives (spouses, underage children, parents, and parents of spouses) apply for individual travel visas:
(1)Provide an official letter issued by the employer of the employee, which should generally include the following content:
a.Specific information of the employed personnel (name, birthday, passport number, description of position or work situation, monthly salary, length of service, etc.);
B.certificate of granting leave;
c.Personal information (name, birthday, passport number) of close relatives with the employee and proof or description of their kinship with the employee (if this cannot be provided in the letter, the original or photocopy of the kinship certificate or notarized proof of kinship can be submitted).
(2)If the employee not comes to China together with their close relatives, their close relatives should apply for a personal travel visa, they need to provide proof of work in employee’s unit, proof of kinship, and a letter of guarantee issued by the employee regarding the relative's visit to China. The content of the guarantee letter includes:
a.Personal information and kinship statements of close relatives;
b.Travel Description in China;
c.Employees provide guarantees for their close relatives in China not to engage in illegal or criminal activities or travel expenses;
d.Signature and date of the employee.
(3)If a minor close relative of a staff member travels to China alone or with a unilateral parent, a travel consent form from a parent or guardian who is not accompanying them is also required.
(4)In addition to the above materials, relevant personnel applying for personal travel visas must also submit:
a.Basic materials: Original and photocopy of passport and information page, truthfully and completely filled out and signed in person, 1 visa application form, and 1 recent 2-inch, front, color, and bareheaded passport photo;
b.Round-trip air tickets and hotel orders, or invitation letters issued by units (travel agencies, etc.) or individuals within China.
2.Individuals who have obtained official letters of guarantee from the Uzbekistan national security department or public security department, as well as those who have received notes from the Uzbekistan foreign affairs department apply for personal travel visas. In addition to the above-mentioned official letters or notes, they must also submit:
(1)Basic materials: Original and photocopy of my passport and information page, truthfully and completely filled out and signed in person, 1 visa application form, and 1 recent 2-inch, front, color, and bareheaded passport photo;
(2)Round-trip air tickets and hotel orders, or invitation letters issued by units (travel agencies, etc.) or individuals within China;
(3)If the applicant is a minor and travels to China alone or with a single parent, they must also provide a travel consent form from parents or guardians who are not accompanying them.
3.Other personnel applying for personal travel visas:
(1)Individuals who have come to China since 2016 must submit their normal and good records of entry and exit during this period:
a.Basic materials: Original and photocopy of my passport and information page, truthfully and completely filled out and signed in person, 1 visa application form, and 1 recent 2-inch, front, color, and bareheaded passport photo;
b.Certificate of No Criminal Record;
c.An invitation letter issued by a travel agency in China with both inbound and outbound tourism business qualifications (refer to the attached template). The list of relevant travel agencies can be found on the official website of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China,website:http://zt.mct.gov.cn/cjyzl)
(2)For those who come to China for the first time since 2016, they must submit:
a.Basic materials: Original and photocopy of my passport and information page, truthfully and completely filled out and signed in person, 1 visa application form, and 1 recent 2-inch, front, color, and bareheaded passport photo;
b.Certificate of No Criminal Record;
c.Proof of financial condition:
(a)A bank statement for the past 6 months, with a regular disposable amount and a balance of no less than $5000 at the time of application, sufficient to cover travel expenses during the period in China (no less than $100 per day);
(b)Travel medical insurance during travel in China;
(c)If there is evidence of real estate ownership, it can also be provided as a discretionary factor;
d.Proof of identity status:
(a)Employees (including individual merchants) must submit a notarized on-the-job certification letter issued by the employer (signed and stamped by the responsible person), as well as the original and photocopy of the stamped enterprise business license (the name of the individual merchant must be indicated on the business license).
The certification letter includes:
①Specific information of in-service personnel (including name, birthday, passport number, job position or job description, length of service, etc.):
②Instructions for granting leave;
③Name and position of the signatory;
④work address, phone number, fax number.
(b)Minors (under 18 years old) are required to provide proof of family or guardianship relationship, a bank statement from their parents for the past year (which often has a disposable amount and a balance of no less than $3000 at the time of application and is sufficient to cover the minor's travel expenses in China), a student ID and a letter of proof issued by the school, and a signed statement of consent from the parents to pay the expenses. If the minor travels to China alone or with one parent, a travel consent form from the parent or guardian who is not accompanying them is also required.
(c)Retirees need to provide retirement certificate, pension (or other fixed income) certificate.
e.Description of family status (including spouse, minor children, parents and spouse's parents living together) and relevant supporting materials (such as marriage certificate or divorce certificate, birth certificate, death certificate, etc.);
f.Invitation letter issued by travel agencies in China with both inbound and outbound tourism business qualifications (refer to the attached template). The list of relevant travel agencies can be found on the official website of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, at the website http://zt.mct.gov.cn/cjyzl )
The invitation letter must be notarized with a genuine seal within the territory of China.

(1)Each applicant must provide all the documents mentioned above. Applicants may not share the supporting documents for their applications.
(2) All the Documents except required original, may be in the form of fax, photocopy or scanned copy, but the consular officer may require the applicant to submit the original documents. All non-original documents must be clear and neat. An issuer of invitation letter who is an individual in China should also provide a photocopy of his/her Chinese ID.
(3) If necessary, the consular officer will require an interview with the applicant or require the applicant to provide other proof documents or supplementary materials, i.e. naturalization paper, bank statement, tax report, proof of relation etc., which may not be listed in the website, in accordance with individual cases or different circumstances.
(4)The consular officer will decide on whether issue the visa or not and on its validity, duration of stay and number of entries in light of specific conditions of the applicant.
(5) All application documents will be kept by the Chinese Embassy. The Visa center will only return your passport back when you come for collection.
important information:
1.All visa applicants aged 14 to 70 (inclusive) are required to personally submit their application at the China Visa Application Center, collect photos on site, and retain fingerprints. If you submit an application through a travel agency or principal, it will be up to the travel agency or principal to determine the submission and retention of fingerprints with you.
2.According to the requirements of the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan, the electronic visa application form and online reservation system will be officially launched from July 1, 2018. Before all applicants come to the Visa Application Center to submit their applications, please log in to the China Visa Application Center website for online form filling and appointment. Click here to view the details. The visa application center does not accept handwritten visa application forms and does not accept applications without appointments. Click here to make an appointment.
If the applicant only applies for a visa to Hong Kong, China, they do not need to use the online filling out and appointment system, and still fill out the current Hong Kong, China visa application form to submit the application to the visa application center. If the applicant applies for a visa to Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong at the same time, the online form filling and reservation system must be used.
3.After completing the online form, please complete the online appointment and bring the necessary application materials to the visa application center according to the appointment time to submit the application.
