In order to meet the diverse needs of applicants, optimize and improve service quality, the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Tokyo will adjust the existing extended service items and introduce new ones from May 18, 2026. The details are as follows:

Ⅰ. Extended Service Items

6	Mailing Service by Dedicated Staff	• Dedicated staff handle passport return mailing • Applicants will be notified of the visa decision and return mailing date once available. • Skip the line + Free printing & copying	5,000	Apply by phone or email at least one working day in advance
7	Passport and Application Documents Pre-submission	For applicants exempt from fingerprint collection • After online submission, passports and required documents may be pre- submitted to the visa center before the online review is completed. • Once the online review is completed, applicants do not need to come to the visa center again. Visa center will continue processing the application to expedite it. • Applicants will be notified of the visa decision and collection date. • Skip the line + Free printing & copying	5,000	Walk in applicable
8	Passport and Application Documents Submission + Fingerprint Collection in Advance	For applicants requiring fingerprint collection • After online submission, passports and required documents may be pre- submitted to the visa center before the online review is completed, and fingerprint collection may be completed in advance. • Once the online review is completed, applicants do not need to come to the visa center again. Visa center will continue processing the application to expedite it. • Applicants will be notified of the visa decision and collection date. • Skip the line + Free printing & copying	10,000	Apply by phone or email at least one working day in advance
9	One-Stop Premium Ⅰ	For applicants exempt from fingerprint collection, the entire visa application process (online and offline) can be completed in a single visit to the visa center. • One-to-one service provided by dedicated staff • Application form completion/modification (ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance) • Guidance and documents check •Upload of required documents until the online application is completed • Passports and required documents may be pre-submitted. Applicants will be notified of the visa decision and return mailing date once available. • Skip the line + Free printing & copying	16,000	Apply by phone or email at least one working day in advance
10	One-Stop Premium Ⅱ	For applicants requiring fingerprint collection, the entire visa application process (online and offline) can be completed in a single visit to the visa center. • One-to-one service provided by dedicated staff • Application form completion/modification (ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance) • Guidance and documents check • Upload of required documents until the online application is completed • Passports and required documents may be pre-submitted • Fingerprint collection in advance • Applicants will be notified of the visa decision and return mailing date once available. • Skip the line + Free printing & copying	20,000	Apply by phone or email at least one working day in advance
11	Dedicated Vehicle Passport Delivery	After visa approval, passports will be delivered by dedicated staff to the applicant’s designated location on the scheduled collection day. ※Delivery is available within Tokyo’s 23 districts only (including Haneda Airport). Ⅱ. About Extended Service Fees

The Extended Service Fee is charged for the provision of extended services and does not include the visa fee or the visa application service fee or postage charged by the post office (if available). The fee is non-refundable regardless of whether the applicant withdraws the application midway or the visa is approved.

Ⅲ. Principles, Notes and Procedures for Extended Services

1. Extended services are provided on a voluntary basis. Applicants may choose service items according to their needs.

2. Notes: Selecting an extended service does not guarantee visa approval.

3. Procedures:

1) For service Items 1, 4, 5, 6 and 11, applicants may apply directly at the visa center without prior arrangement.

2) For service Items 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, and 10, applicants may apply by phone or email at least one working day in advance. Confirmation will be provided by the visa center via phone or email.
