Starting from September 30, 2025, the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Toronto will implement the Chinese Visa Online Processing System, in coordination with the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Toronto.

 At that time, all applicants (excluding those applying for visas to Hong Kong, China, and Macao, China) must first fill out the application form and submit all required electronic application materials online. Applicants may proceed to the Toronto Chinese Visa Application Serves Center(CVASC) to submit their documents only after the verification has been approved (note: approval of the online review does not mean the visa has been granted). Applicants may proceed to submit physical documents and make payment at the CVASC (on working days from 9:00 a.m. EST. to 3:00 p.m. EST, no appointment required).

2）Please be advised that once your online application status is updated to "Online review completed", you will receive an approval notification email (Please click here to view the important notes about this), and you must submit one physical photograph that meets the requirements for a Chinese visa when you visit the Toronto CVASC. 3）Start from December 19th, 2025 until December 31st, 2026,  all short-term visa applications (with a duration of stay up to 180 days) are exempt from fingerprint collection. For detail information, please click here.

4）If you require the return by mail service, please bring the pre-paid return envelope (CANADA POST EXPRESS) when you visit the Toronto CVASC.
