1. When should I collect my passport?
The starting date of collecting your passport is shown on the pick-up form issued to you on the day of application. Please collect your passport as soon as possible with the original pick-up form.
If there is a delay in processing your visa, the Visa Centre staff will notify you and confirm your new collection date. Please note that all the passports overdue for collection will be returned to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate-General after the visa expires, or 365 days after the decision made by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate-General to issue or refuse the visa application, in which case your payment will not be refunded.

2. When and how do I pay the fees?

You pay all the fees at the counter after submitting your application and you will receive a receipt when you collect your passport.

These include:
- Visa fees charged on behalf of the Chinese Embassy/Consulate-General 
- Service fees charged by the Visa Centre

Please note that visa fees and service fees may vary from different visa categories and service options. Click here for the Schedule of Fees and methods of payment.

Due to the fact that China and some countries have bilateral arrangements regarding visa fees, the amount generated by the system shall prevail in case of any difference between the amount of visa fee generated by the system and that listed in the Schedule of Fees.

3. What to do when I visit the Visa Centre for collection of passport?

Please check here for the office working hours.

When you arrive at the Visa Centre, please:

(1) take a queue ticket for collection

(2) wait for your queue number to be called and go to Counter 8

(3) present original pick-up form to get your passport. If there is any change of fees, you will get your passport back after the adjusted amount is refunded or paid.

Please carefully Check all the particulars, such as your name, birth date, passport number, validity, number of entries, duration of stay on your visa, and let the staff know immediately if there is any problem.
