Documents to Upload for Online Review

• Passport: Information page and 2 blank pages;

• Photo: Recent, front-facing, color (white background), bareheaded, official ID photo. Click here to view photo requirements;

• Valid stay or residence certificate (for applicants not holding Mexican nationality). Mexican citizens may upload a scanned copy of their ID card or passport information page;

• Scanned copy of previous Chinese visa. Applicants with no prior visa records may upload their passport information page;

• Confirmed hotel reservation and round-trip air ticket booking in China. If visiting China at the invitation of relatives or friends, in addition to the round-trip air ticket, upload an invitation letter signed by the inviter and a copy of the inviter's valid ID in China. Click here to download the invitation letter template.

Documents to Bring When Submitting Passport After Review Approval

• Original passport;

• 1 Visa Photo;

• Visa Application Confirmation;

• Valid Chinese visa (if applicable);

• Original Chinese passport (for applicants who previously held Chinese nationality and later acquired foreign nationality, applying for a Chinese visa for the first time).

Notes

• Ensure the passport has a remaining validity of at least 6 months with more than 2 consecutive blank pages, and the passport is in good condition with no damage or defacement;

• Provide full round-trip air tickets from Mexico to mainland China and departure tickets from China. If any part is missing, sign the "Itinerary Missing Statement". Click here to download the statement template;

• Round-trip air ticket bookings and hotel reservations made through third-party platforms must include key information such as booking number, applicant's name, and arrival/departure dates. If the hotel reservation is issued directly by the hotel, it must be stamped by the hotel in addition to the above information;

• If the hotel reservation is under another relative's or friend's name, upload a scanned copy of the booker's passport information page and a signed "Hotel Reservation Statement" from the booker. Click here to download the statement template;

• The dates on the hotel reservation must exactly match the arrival and departure dates on the round-trip air tickets. Arrange and upload air tickets and hotel reservations separately in chronological order;

• When visiting China at the invitation of relatives or friends, the inviter in China may issue an invitation letter. Click here to download the invitation letter template. If the inviter is a Chinese citizen, upload a scanned copy of both sides of the inviter's Chinese ID card; if the inviter is a foreign national, upload a scanned copy of the inviter's passport information page and residence permit.

Special Instructions

• Consular officers may, at their discretion, require applicants to provide additional supporting documents or supplementary materials, or conduct an interview with the applicant;

• Consular officers will decide whether to issue a visa, as well as the validity period, number of entries, and duration of stay based on the applicant's specific circumstances.
