Notice On Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday & Chinese National Day
Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Osaka will be closed on September 25 (Friday) and from October 1 (Thursday) to October 5 (Monday), 2026 due to Mid-Autumn FestivalHolidayandChinese National Day. It opens as usually on October6(Tuesday).
Notice on the Update of Extended Service
In order to meet the diverse needs of applicants, optimize and improve service quality, the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Osaka will adjust the existing extended service items and introduce new ones from May 18, 2026.

Notice on Upgrading Visa Application Online Processing System
To further enhance the efficiency of visa applications and optimize service processes, Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Osaka *(hereinafter referred to as "our center")* will implement an online processing system through our center’s website, in order to coordinate with the Consulate-general of the People’s Republic of China in Osaka to launch the China Online Visa Processing System. Notice on further expansion of visa-free countries
From 00:00 on November 30, 2024 to 24:00 on December 31, 2025 (Beijing time), people holding ordinary passports from Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia and Japan who come to China for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, exchange visits, or transit for no more than 30 days can enter China visa-free. Those who do not meet the visa-free conditions still need to obtain a visa to China before entering the country.
